On Saturday, December 19th I had the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Ryan and Etienne. American Ryan met South African Etienne in the east and the rest as they say is history. The ceremony took place at Hakuna Matata out in Muldersdrift. The wedding was organised by G & T Production House who did an amazing job of putting together a very professional event. The theme was distinctly African and showed in all the finer details from the ostrich eggs on the tables to the guinea fowl feathers used to shower the newly-weds. Weather.com had predicted showers for the afternoon which luckily never materialised and the event took place outdoors with heavy cloud but no rain (thanks Sting)… and actually ended up being a blessing as it helped to ease the highveld summer heat.
